#1. The New York Knicks Are Who We Thought They Were. How do you spell Knicks? K-N-I-C-K-D..WRONG….there is NO D in Knicks. The 76ers were able to shoot 59% from the field for the ENTIRE GAME! On the other hand when they aren’t shooting a high percentage they are going to get their doors blown off as in the case of losing by 29 points tonight. To tell you the truth I don’t think that the Knicks are going to be shutting anyone down this year. Their roster doesn’t have ONE guy that could guard a lamp stand. This team is constantly going to be a team where the over is going to be a play on when they play any teams that like the uptempo style.
#2. Sacramento or Charlotte….who wants the most balls in the 2009 NBA draft? Man talk about two teams that should be competing in the WNBA. I’ll make a bet that neither one of these teams wins more than 20 games this season.
#3. Losing a cover in overtime sucks. Thank you LA Clippers!
#4. San Antonio is an OLD OLD team! The team known formerly as the Portland Jailbreakers made the Spurs look old and stiff. I think that San Antonio has finally hit the “Ben Gay” mood and will have problems with younger, athletic teams this season.
#5. Boston doesn’t look like they are having a Championship hangover. I guess instead of partying in the off season they spent their time in jacuzzi tubs and ice baths. They look to really tough defensively again with just enough offense. Paul Pierce is working himself to be one of the top 5 toughest offensive players in the NBA. The guys has inside and outside game that makes him almost impossible to defend one on one.
